Our outreach service includes a home visiting service abroad (primarily in UK) and one to one visits in Ireland, supporting those who have recently returned home. We can facilitate Returning to Ireland infomation clinics, for individuals and agencies, offered both 'in person' and online
Home Visits Abroad
Safe Home Ireland visit our housing applicants, primarily* in the UK before they return to Ireland. This is an opportunity to meet our clients in the relaxed environment of their own homes, to go through the housing application process in detail, assess individual circumstances and to answer any other queries they may have about returning home permanently.
Where appropriate, we can connect people with local support services to help improve their financial, housing and overall situation abroad, while they await their return to Ireland.
*Where funding and staff resources allow, we may be able to cover visits to other countries (e.g. the USA)*
Home Visits Ireland
We provide an outreach and advocacy service to people who have returned to Ireland. This one-to-one support service is aimed at those who may who need assistance with various applications; applying for healthcare services, social welfare, opening a bank account or other essential services.
We can also assist in the reintegration and resettlement process by 'signposting' to other relevant support services in the local area.

Returning to Ireland Information Clinics
Our outreach team travel, to the UK primarily, and to the U.S. (as funding allows) to deliver returning to Ireland information clinics. These sessions are normally run in partnership with Irish Welfare and Support agencies abroad.
Our aims are, (a) to connect with Irish emigrants and ensure that they are aware of the services that we offer (b) to liaise with staff in agencies supporting Irish emigrants and to foster closer working relationships for client referrals and assistance.
