KAREN BOLLEN

OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY OFFICER

Karen is based in Carlow and joined Safe Home in January 2025 as Outreach & Advocacy Officer. Karen moved from Belgium to Ireland in 2016 and has experience working in residential care and as a tenancy sustainment officer supporting clients in social housing.

In her role as Outreach & Advocacy Officer Karen carries out home visits to assess and support clients that are considering returning to Ireland and those that have already returned, as well as linking in with relevant services and agencies, assisting with paperwork and advocating on behalf of clients.
