NOREEN MULRINE

OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY OFFICER

Noreen, based in Galway, joined Safe Home in 2005 as an Outreach & Advocacy Officer.

Prior to taking the role her previous experience was working in the homeless sector as a housing support worker and hostel supervisor. Her current remit includes carrying out assessment home visits to our UK based clients, maintaining strong links with Irish welfare agencies abroad, and supporting both our returned clients and people who return independent of Safe home but may need assistance in the initial settling in period. This can include advocating on their behalf with various agencies such as the HSE and the Department of Social Protection.
